INTRODUCTION

Welcome friends!  First and foremost, I am a blessed wife of 20 years and mother to four uniquely different children.  My husband and I grew up in the outskirts of Richmond, VA and we have called Hampton Roads our home since 2000.  As our family began to grow, we knew the City of Chesapeake, its residents, and more specifically the Chesapeake School System, would best align with the family and American values we wanted to instill within the Scott Family.  

 

Since moving to the Greenbrier area in 2011, our family, friends, and community have played a significant role in my personal growth and in the realization that the values of so many in Chesapeake will not be protected without action.  As a registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, I have the opportunity and blessing to be reminded daily that children are a gift.  As a former PTA President I had the privilege of collaborating with school administrators, teachers, and parents for the betterment of our schools.  I loved seeing the absolute joy on children's faces during events, recognition ceremonies, and even simple waves in the hallway when they knew that they were known and valued.

 

Your voice was loudly heard when I was elected to the Chesapeake School Board in November of 2022. I have stood unwavering in the face of adversity and am incredibly proud of the success of our school division. With your support in November 2026, I along with a team of four like-minded candidates will press on for our city.  We will execute plans and make decisions that support the reason public education was formed, "as might supply the succeeding age with men/women qualified to serve the public with honor to themselves, and to their country" - Benjamin Franklin.
